BPR40 = affordable option for security and maintenance operations
We use the XPR3500e and BPR40 models with a repeater system for our operations at a local business. While the XPR3500e is obviously a nicer radio with a higher dust/water resistance rating and more options plus the IMPRES battery/charging dock, the affordable and venerable BPR40 will still hold its own and work almost flawlessly to get the job done. We have many older units, which might occasionally need a new battery, otherwise they are still in operation. I also bought the BPR40 mic and it has been working very well for the price. I've looked around and myradiomall.com has some of the best prices available, so I will keep coming back for sure when I need more radio goodies. Amazing how long these motorolas radios will last...we also have some ex560 and ex600xls models (obtained when they first come out) and they are still in operation. 5 of 5 stars on quality and service from myradiomall.com!!!
I love this radio
A great little bulky workhorse.
